The Oil & Gas department is engaged in marketing and sales activities of AEDCO
principals covering the Oil & Gas sector (both upstream and down-stream),
Petrochemicals and Fertilizers sectors either in feasibility studies, scheme selection,
engineering, lump sum turnkey projects, equipment supplies for projects or plants,
as well as after - sales services and
spare parts.
During many years of success, the Oil & Gas Department has developed good relations
with Suppliers and built a solid Customer base with the government, public, joint
venture and private organizations in relevant related fields.
Major projects successfully accomplished include:
| Refrigeration packages in Amereya. |
| LPG plant refrigeration and heat exchanger packages. |
| Several Gas compressors to ENPPI & EGPC. |
| Several Turbo compression (Centrifugal compressors) and Power Stations to Petrobel, Gasco, Rashpetco & Burullus. |
| Reciprocating compression packages to Quarun Petroleum |
| Co2 compressors to Abu Qir Fertilizers Co. |
| Turbo expanders to Khalda and SIDPEC. |
| Pumps to Sumed, Khalda, PPC and Petrobel |
| EPC of the lube oil expansion project to Alexandria Mineral Oil Company (AMOC). |
| Pumps to Sumed, PPC, Petrobel and Khalda. |
| Gas reducing stations and valves to Gasco. |
| Long terms service contract for ELNG & Petrobel. |
| Dredging of the El-Sokhna port project with Red Sea port authority. |
| Cranes to SPDC and many other projects with different customers. |
| In 2008 AEDCO sold to GE its first in the world “Power Crystal” for F5. |
| In 2009 AEDCO sold the first aero derivatives Turbo compressors (5 units) to GE in Egypt. |

AEDCO’s Oil & Gas activities are being extended in 2010 to include GE Motors as well as
GE Water in the field of Chemicals used by its customers in the Sectors covered by the Department.
